A note from Cubmaster Greg Euston about the September pack meeting:
I hope everybody had a great time at tonight's Pack Meeting. I'm very interested in hearing what your boys thought of the Hawk Talk. The kids did a great job of paying attention for the whole show.
I have just a few announcements I want to share:
1) Fall Family Camping - if you're planning to go, please get your money to Rebecca Woody by Wednesday, Sept. 30. It's $25 per person, and make checks payable to Pack 797. Also, we need a volunteer with a full-sized SUV or full-sized truck to haul our trailer down to Bert Adams.
2) Popcorn - Money and orders are due to Den leaders by October 15. Please make checks payable to Pack 797.
3) Space Derby - our October Pack meeting - is Saturday, Oct. 24 at 9 a.m. at the church. Don't forget to open the box early - the rocket needs glueing and shaping, and follow the directions.
4) And a bonus announcement. Add Nov. 8 to the calendar. We will be doing some maintenance at Mt. Bethel Elementary School Habitat. It's a great way to give back to the school that supports the Pack and your children, plus Wolves (7d), Bears (6g) and even Webelos (part of the Citizenship belt loop) earn credit toward completing their rank.
